The theme for His Call Church in 2018 is “Miracle of Love”.
The CD contains 7 songs in it, and today let us focus on the song “Miracle of Love”.
The message there is that when we love God and love people,
God will perform miracles of love.
Jesus’ miracle where He turned water into wine is known by many people,
but why didn’t He just perform a miracle himself at that moment when the wine was all gone
but let the disciples carry water instead?
His disciples needed faith that the water they carried to the waterpots would be turned into wine.
Carrying water may sound very simple, but they needed to do the same thing over and over.
In that sense, it is much like discipleship and evangelism.
In our life when we keep worshipping, praising and giving,
sometimes we wonder if Japan will ever change or if we can actually see salvation.
Sometimes we doubt.
But Jesus’ eyes are on every single thing we do.
When the disciples kept doing what they were told to do through faith,
and when water was turned into wine,
the people who were used for the miracle were the disciples,
the people who kept praying, worshipping, and sacrificing.
Sometimes we wonder until when we need to repeat this, like carrying water,
but Jesus is watching everything we do.
He will reveal His glory through us.
Let us keep carrying water with the family God gave us,
keep loving God and people, keep praising this beautiful song of praise God gave us,
and together, let’s see Japan change!!
